Steve is a 1998 University of Pennsylvania graduate. With his wife and veterinary school classmate, Julie Irwin, VMD, he owned and practiced at the Animal Emergency Center in Pennsylvania for over seven years. He sold the practice to pursue a residency in Diagnostic Imaging at the University of Tennessee. He completed his residency and became board-certified in Diagnostic Imaging in 2011.
Steve's background in both general and emergency practice allows him to work closely with general practitioners to help correlate findings with the overall clinical picture. In his free time, Steve acts as a private taxi service for three children and enjoys biking as well as playing and watching soccer.
